Success of the 1st Seminar on Tourist Accommodations in Marbella

On November 15, 2024, the Adolfo Suárez Congress and Exhibition Center in Marbella hosted the 1st Seminar on tourist accommodation, organized by the Marbella Delegation and the Tourist Accommodation Section of the Malaga Bar Association, with the collaboration of the Marbella City Council and the National Police Force.

The event addressed the implications of Decree 31/2024, in force since February, which introduces new responsibilities for local corporations in the regulation of tourist accommodation. Royal Decree 933/2021 was also discussed, which has presented challenges in its application in the daily operation of the accommodation activity.

Ignacio Arteaga, lawyer at Mintegui Abogados and member of the Training Commission of the Malaga Bar Association, assumed the role of moderator of the seminar, facilitating the development of the presentations and the subsequent debate.

This seminar allowed attendees to resolve key questions about the regulations and their application in the tourist accommodation sector.
